Ph.D Programme
Ph.D candidates with M.Sc, B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degrees are required to take 24 credits while those with M.Tech or equivalent degrees are required to take 12 credits of course work (not restricted to the Department).

Any course that is not in the Hardcore and Softcore pools of the IAP MTech program may be treated as an elective course. This includes courses from IAP as well as all the courses offered by other departments in IISc. Please note that certain courses may have a limited number of seats that they admit. We request the students to contact the instructors before registering for elective courses.
