Lab Facilities :

The experimental setup has the facility to test multistage configurations of turbomolecular pump. Two dimensional flow analysis leading to the identification of the two geometries for the rotor are completed and the rotors are also fabricated. They are parametrically described over a compact set, between the limits of complete and non complete utilization of the speed of the rotor. This categorization brings us the choice to select the geometry that admits the multistage configuration. Three dimensional flow modeling using the Markov-chain process for complete generalization is presently being continued.
