Omkar wins the Best Paper Award at #TENCON 2026!

Heartiest congratulations to Omkar Shinkre for winning the Best Paper Award at #TENCON 2026!
This recognition celebrates an exciting contribution to the field of flexible and reconfigurable electronics. His work presents the fabrication and characterization of flexible dual-gate organic thin-film transistors (DGTFTs), using TIPS-Pentacene as the semiconductor and Parylene-C as the gate dielectric on a polycarbonate substrate.
By independently controlling the top-gate voltage, the devices enable effective threshold voltage tuning and dynamically switch a two-input logic circuit between NAND and NOR operations without changing the circuit configuration. Such approach highlights the potential of dual-gate organic transistors for developing area-efficient, reconfigurable logic circuits for next-generation flexible and printed electronics. This work is a joint collaboration between @Flexible Electronics lab led by Sanjiv Sambandan and LANSPE IISc under CPAM OCC.

At Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics IAP, Indian Institute of Science (IISc): we believe science progresses when disciplines come together, ideas cross traditional boundaries, and researchers collaborate to solve challenging problems.
At IAP, we strive to nurture and promote interdisciplinary research, bringing together diverse expertise to create impactful science and technology.
Congratulations to Omkar and everyone involved in this wonderful collaborative effort!
