Research group at IMSc works on some of the theoretical aspects of quantum information, quantum simulation and quantum computation and research group at IISc works on some of the experimental aspects of photon based quantum information processing and quantum optics.

  Research Interests


Research interest of our group are broadly in the area of Quantum Information and Quantum Computation with particular interest in topics related to :
  1. Quantum algorithms, quantum walks and quantum simulations
  2. Photonic quantum computation
  3. Quantum communication and quantum networks
  4. Relativistic quantum physics and particle physics using qubits
  5. Open quantum systems
