Their recent work on nonlinear electrical transport in moiré graphene is finally out in Nano Letters ACS Publications! They demonstrate that second-order measurements can detect a series of delicate Fermi surface reconstructions without the need for a magnetic field. Electronic correlations lead to saddle points in energy dispersion, allowing to access low-energy phase transitions associated with these instabilities through nonlinear transport measurements.
