Abstract:
I will share some of my experiences in product development and commercialization. The path from Scientific ideas in the laboratory to full fledged commercialization of the developed product is fraught with anticipated as well as unanticipated issues. Through three or four case studies, we will focus on learning from both the successes and failures.
About the speaker:
Prof. S. Anantha Ramakrishna is currently a Professor in the Department of Physics in IIT Kanpur. He also served as a director in CSIR Chandigarh from 2020-2023. He has won Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award in. 2016. He is also a swarnajayanti fellow and a fellow of national academy of science, India. He is also a fellow of institution of electronics and telecommunication engineers in 2021.
His research interest lies in metamaterials, plasmonic and nanostructured materials
